Queen Elizabeth II

Someone looks perky, especially since she's now married to a vampire.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex

Sophie when to Cumbria this week and did a bunch of stuff. I'd like to give her clappy claps for her clutch.

Sophie Wessex Visits Cumbria

This was at the "Westmorland County Agricultural Society's Annual Silage Competition," which I believe is part of what is essentially their county fair, and look at this sweet love in her little poncho.

Sophie Wessex Visits Cumbria

What is silage? Great question! Google tells me that it is "grass or other green fodder compacted and stored in airtight conditions, typically in a silo, without first being dried, and used as animal feed in the winter." What she is holding, in fact. Neat!

Sophie Wessex

She also visited John Farrer & Co Ltd, which is (I believe) the oldest coffee company in the UK and got to grind up some beans. (I have to say, I generally don't really care at all if someone wears her coat or takes off her coat or sets her coat on fire at one of these events, but she DOES look weird here with the FULL coat on while she's doing this. I say this as a person who is often so cold that she never takes off her coat, so you know I really mean it.)

Sophie Wessex

She got the note! I also need to share Informative Caption with you because it is cute: "The Countess will be invited to assist in making espressos!" Whoever wrote that really wanted some coffee. I SEE YOU, INFORMATIVE CAPTIONER.

British Asian Trust Dinner, Buckingham Palace

This is officially the "British Asian Trust Dinner at Buckingham Palace," but it looks like a secret cult meeting, thanks to all the candles. The candles and the old buildings of London make a LOT of events look like they might be the meeting of a nefarious cult, and that's one of the reasons I enjoy visiting.

Prince Charles and Camilla Visit the Supreme Court UK

"Oh, I say! I think I'm related to that statue!"

Glorious Grandparents initiative launch,

Let us be scrupulously honest: I don't think any of us would be surprised if we learned that Camilla and Charles Dance here once hooked up.

Camilla visits St. John's Angell Town Church and Primary Schoo

"Charles thinks he's such an artist. WE'LL SEE WHO'S THE ARTIST, CHAZ."

Camilla Duchess of Cornwall visit to Lambeth's Food Co-op

"Charles thinks he's such a gardener. WE'LL SEE WHO'S GOT THE GREEN THUM, CHAZ."

Queen Letizia

OH NO! A rogue flash here revealed Her Majesty's Brassiere! (Other than this BETRAAAAYAL, this outfit is kicky and good.)

Queen Letizia

"Sometimes a queen just wants to go back to dressing like the Deputy DA."

Queen Letizia

She is LOVING this color now. (I do think this dress is totally reasonable.)

Queen Maxima

I was just wondering where Maxima was! She didn't come out much this week, that I could tell from our photo services -- but maybe she was just home working on beading this tunic. (Those shoes are divine. SEE, KATE?  SEE HOW WELL A METALLIC CAN WORK?!)

Queen Silvia, King Carl Gustaf, Princess Madeleine, Prince Carl Philip

Speaking of metallics, DING DONG, Princess Madeleine!

Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar and Crown Princess Victoria

Let us close this week with MEGA CUTENESS at the Ski Alpine World Cup. You snuggle that extremely adorable grumpy old man baby, Victoria! SNUGGLE HIM!

Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, Princess Mette-Marit

I love Estelle for shimmying her way up to the front and hanging out where the ACTION is.

Princess Estelle, your SportsFaces are PERFECT!

Haakon, Mette-Marit, Estelle

"Don't tell me what they're doing back there. I do NOT want to know."

Royals Round-Up, February 8th, 2019

Phew! We made it through another week!
