Well, this week feels relaxed compared to last week! But still plenty to chat about -- and goodness knows, I may have missed something; our new book was due yesterday and I am fried. Last I heard on the Sussex situation is that things are being worked out -- I suspect we're not going to get much more news about that until next week.

In case you missed it, [Kate and Wills had an engagement on Wednesday](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/wills-and-kate-had-an-engagement-today-01-2020/).

Here's some interesting things to read elsewhere:

**LATE EDIT:** [**We've got a statement from the palace about the latest developments in the Harry and Meghan thing** \-](https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-51163865?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)\- they're losing (or retiring?) their HRHs, will no longer formally represent the Queen, and are paying back the money for the Frogmore renos. Security issues TBD, as far as I tell. \[BBC\]

You've probably seen this already, but if not, you should. And on social media:

This is good!
