The event was hosted by NHS Employers. Informative Caption tells us, "Britain's Prince William meets guests at a reception before delivering a speech to celebrate the national rollout of the 'Step into Health' programme....The initiative is supported by the Royal Foundation to help ex-service people, their spouses and dependants find employment in the National Health Service." But what we all really want to discuss is that he's shorn his hair REALLY short, which I think is a good move. Dude is bald AF; LEAN INTO IT. ## Prince William visit to Evelina London Children's Hospital ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/shutterstock_9325242j-1516301102.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by REX/Shutterstock (9325242j) Prince William visits Evelina London Children's Hospital to launch a nationwide programme to help veterans find work in the NHS. Prince William visit to Evelina London Children's Hospital, UK - 18 Jan 2018 "I once had hair as wonderous as yours, and now look at me! Definitely go for the buzzcut if it happens to you, kid. It's MUCH more modern." ## New Year's Reception at the Royal Palace, Brussels ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/shutterstock_9325087z-1516301093.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Isopix/REX/Shutterstock (9325087z) King Philippe / Queen Mathilde New Year's Reception at the Royal Palace, Brussels, Belgium - 18 Jan 2018 Speaking of hair, I shall always have notes about Mathilde's tending towards the helmet, but! I feel like it, too, looks a bit more modern than it has in times past? Her outfit here is stellar. ## President of Iceland State visit to Sweden ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/shutterstock_9324977i-1516301080.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by IBL/REX/Shutterstock (9324977i) King Carl Gustaf, Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson, Queen Silvia, Eliza Jean Reid, banquet at the Royal palace President of Iceland State visit to Sweden - 17 Jan 2018 The President of Iceland, Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson, and his wife Eliza Jean Reid, are visiting Sweden, and I have several thoughts: (a) Silvia looks FANTASTIC in this dress, (b) Eliza Jean Reid looks so much like Casey Wilson! Apparently, she is Canadian and used to be a writer/editor and (c) Wiki implies that President Jóhannesson is a very smart person, which must be nice for Iceland. ## Prince Daniel, Princess Sofia, Prince Carl Philip ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/shutterstock_9324308ak-1516301060.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by IBL/REX/Shutterstock (9324308ak) Prince Daniel, princess Sofia, Prince Carl Philip President of Iceland Gudni Thorlacius Johannesson visit to Sweden - 17 Jan 2018 I don't know where Victoria was, but I DO know that Sofia looks like a beautiful widow in a Masterpiece Theatre original miniseries set in Victorian times. ## Princess Sophia ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/shutterstock_9325655v-1516386671.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by IBL/REX/Shutterstock (9325655v) Princess Sofia of Sweden Attendance at Sophiahemmet's graduation ceremony, Stockholm, Sweden - 18 Jan 2018 This is the Sophiahemmet's graduation ceremony, and Wiki tells me, "Sophiahemmet is a private hospital at Norra Djurgården in Stockholm, Sweden. It is associated with the Sophiahemmet University College. Its connection with the royal family goes back to 1884 when nursing education sponsored by Queen Sophia was still being conducted at the university." I assume the women in the background are the graduates? Everyone looks very competent! ## Queen Letizia ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/01/shutterstock_9324288v-1516301051.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Cordoba Miguel/action press/REX/Shutterstock (9324288v) King Felipe of Spain, Queen Letizia of Spain FITUR International Tourism Fair, Madrid, Spain - 17 Jan 2018 I like this coat THEORETICALLY, but it photographs oddly.
