Mandatory Credit: Photo by Victoria Jones/AP/Shutterstock (11665158a) In this undated photo issued, Britain's Queen Elizabeth II records her annual Christmas broadcast in Windsor Castle, Windsor, England Queen, Windsor, United Kingdom - 25 Dec 2020

"Let us not beat around the bush. 2020 was an unmitigated shitshow. We were NOT AMUSED."

So, some of these pics date from before the holidays (due to the way I scheduled Royals Round-Up). I love this very festive velvet look on Camilla.

Informative Caption tells me this is a "Handout image provided by Clarence House to celebrate Christmas of Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall at Birkhall, Scotland, taken by a member of their staff." But it does not tell me why they're waving about walking sticks? Is this their way of communicating that they plan to hike their royal bums off during the holiday break?

Felipe and Letizia

Again, Informative Caption notes that this is "King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia during the inauguration of a memorial to health workers that have died in Spain while working during the COVID-19 pandemic." So their somber looks are very appropriate.

This pic is slightly dystopian. Letizia looks VERY grim.

It's a bit less distressing without the cape, of course. (Not that I think it would be appropriate to show up in a giant tulle ballgown; just that the black cape had a real Dementor vibe that kind of stressed me out in combination with that mask.)
