You guys know I am obsessed with Lego Royals, and they made a little Prince George Birthday Lego. I assume we're looking at Lego Wills, George, and Kate at the left end -- I like Lego Kate's saucy ponytail -- and then Lego Harry (he's VERY ginger) talking to Lego Pippa (??) at the other end. If ONLY they'd made them have the party right there on the gravel in front of Buckingham Palace, behind the gate, where we could stare at them LIKE CREATURES IN THE ZOO.
Per our photo source, this was an event at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich held to mark three hundred and fifty years of the Royal Marines. And I think I speak for many of us when I say: Hello, sailor.
"...and that's why I'm in a fight with the LEGO people."
I don't know what this girl just asked him, but I think it was SASSY and I'm pretty sure I want to be friends with her.
These two popped over to Paris as one does, and I have to say that I LOVE this on Letizia. I am generally -- AS YOU KNOW TOO WELL -- neutral on the neutrals, but I think this dress really works on her and the open-toed shoes are fab.
This is nice and crisp? Letizia had a good week. And you'll be relieved to see that she made a good shoe choice. (WAIT FOR IT....)
THANK YOU for not wearing beige pumps, Letizia. I APPLAUD YOU.
Here, these two are -- and I quote -- visiting "the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela on the first anniversary of the train accident in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The train, travelling more than twice the speed limit, derailed, killing 80 passengers and injured 130." So, not a particularly festive occasion, although the crowd that came out to see them seemed excited they were there (from what I could tell from pictures). In other news, has Felipe taken to carrying a jaunty walking stick?
Crown Princess Mary basically ALWAYS looks like she's walking into a L'Oreal commercial. (We'll get a better look at her caftan next week; I'm stuck in the embargo for the rest of these photos right now. But damn, girl.)
YOU GUYS. THIS HAT. I think it's alive.
This dress on Mathilde is cute and spring-y in that Junior League Spring Luncheon kind of way that I not-so-secretly find very appealing. I also find whatever they're eating to be appealing, because I've decided they're cheese puffs.
Over in Glasgow, Scotland, the Commonwealth Games have opened and Queen REAPPLIED HER LIPSTICK IN PUBLIC AND ON TV. I think this means that we are ALL now 100% allowed to reapply lipstick in public. I love this picture.
Camilla is like, "shit, we can do that now? SWEET. GLOSS ME."
Sophie did not appear to reapply anything in public, and trotted out this Quilted Somber Dress we saw more recently (and more full-length) at Ascot.
There! That's more like it.
The Queen and her Cheerful Saucy Hat appears to also be having a great time. All these athletes just look like they're about to burst into giggles.
"I just hope we see a lot of good abs this week, Phil. WE LOVE ABS. Like on that young man. I'd like to see THOSE abs."
"I wonder if Anne would agree to start settling all our disagreements with fisticuffs."
While she's in Scotland for the Commonwealth Games, Camilla popped over to the Fashion Festival -- where she met a Fug National, who tweeted us about it! -- and this photo just makes me laugh. It's so, "HELLO BAG. YOU WILL BE MINE." I feel like we've all had that look on our face about an accessory once in our lives.
"No, sincerely, ma'am, I don't think the rug is THAT bad."
