There is hardly any A/C in the UK! (I was there in 2008 one summer and it was like 90 and I had, of course, packed light sweaters and whatnot and I had to go buy shorts. And I popped into Selfridge's and thought, "the department store will have A/C!" and IT DID NOT. Mathilde's hat is SO enormously Maxima-esque; Elisabeth, who is 17, is honestly so lovely. National Day celebrations, Brussels, Belgium - 21 Jul 2019 It is an annual tradition that the royal family attend the parade on the national holiday. Images show that the Prince is busy with his smartphone for minutes. In the end, Laurent even started calling, and King Philip and Queen Mathilde scowled at him. In the end his wife Princess Claire appears to be encouraging him to end the calls. Informative Caption was snarky here: "Prince Laurent, the brother of the Belgian King Philippe, was quite busy with his telephone during the military parade in Brussels as he sits alongside his wife Princess Claire.....It is an annual tradition that the royal family attend the parade on the national holiday. Images show that the Prince is busy with his smartphone for minutes. In the end, Laurent even started calling, and King Philip and Queen Mathilde scowled at him. He is only 54, but certainly that can strike you -- but I will note that Prince Laurent has been Doing Stuff/Having Issues/Making Bad Choices for YEARS. There was a rumor a couple of years ago that his wife was going to divorce him. She definitely appears to be considering it here. ## The Danish Queen's Chasuble for Graasten Palace Church ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/07/shutterstock_10342901a-1564075754.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Frank Cilius/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock (10342901a) Queen Margrethe II of Denmark (2-R) and Princess Benedikte (R), followed by Princess Alexandra (2-L) and her husband Count Michael Ahlefeldt-Laurvig-Bille (2-L), attend a service at Graasten Castle Church, in Graasten, Denmark, 21 July 2019\. Ahem, continued Information: "The Danish monarch has embroidered a new chasuble for the Graasten Palace Church that was used for the first time on 21 July." That woman has so many hobbies! As for the rest of them: Princess Benedikte is Daisy's younger sister and seems quite unscandalous. (BORING.) Princess Alexandra is HER daughter and is ALSO unscandalous/boring, with the exception of the fact that her second husband here has a very long name.
