Yeah, so when I wrote this slide originally I accidentally referred to Harry here as "Freddie." I haven't done that in A LONG TIME; Harry is clearly in rare form today.

"Harry makes Kate laugh" remains one of my very favorite genre of royals photos. (I suppose, actually, it's possible that Wills just said something surprisingly amusing here, and Harry's deadpan response is not to his own witticism.)

I like Kate's Jane Taylor hat, and it ALSO kind of looks like she's got a glamorous swan perched on her head.

Always pleased to see that Harry doesn't need a bracelet.

"All right, enough playing to your fans. Let's go inside."

"Just a few more finger guns. One sec. Be right with you."

"Wait, what? We were ALL supposed to wear our fur turbans? That wasn't in the email, mate!"

This coat-dress is pretty. It's not really my PERSONAL jam, exactly, but I like the way it recalls Wedgewood china, and the way the lace goes all the way to the bottom.

Harry ALSO seems to approve.

I have NO IDEA what they're looking at here...

...but I decided it's these two. (Harry and Kate may well be slightly amused by Sophie's satellite dish hat.)

"See, Kate?! I TOO CAN MAKE YOU LAUGH!"

I decided Kate and Sophie intentionally chose to coordinate their blue coatdresses.

I THINK this is the first time I've seen Lady Louise in a headpiece that could be termed quasi-adult. They grow up so fast!

A quick sidebar to give SamCam a shout-out for her Breton stripe dress.

Eugenie looks GREAT, I think. This dress is really appealing on her. Also, her hair looks super here -- I even like the Blair Waldorfian headband.

This look was less popular, but you know what? I actually LOVE IT. It's very bold.

I feel like Camilla's hat doesn't QUITE match her coat. But I love that Chaz's tie/pocket square IS coordinated with it.

This ensemble gives me a powerful craving for tiramisu.

EVERYONE IS SUSPICIOUS EVERYWHERE.

I enjoy how many of these women decided that today called for major feathers sprouting from their respective noggins.

ALSO a successful look on Zara. I feel like an usually high number of royals pulled it together for Her Maj today.

And as ever, Princess Michael of Kent looks like she fell out of a Danielle Steele novel.

ALL the Windsors came out for this shindig. (Amelia and Marina are cousins to the Queen, a relationship I always need to think about before I make that statement definitively. Their grandfather is the Duke of Kent, who you know from handing out the awards at Wimbledon every year.)

"Why is everyone wearing a larger hat than I am?!?"

I enjoy that Her Majesty had (at least) two outfits today. Like a royal bride, it IS Her Weekend.

HIDEOUS.

And, earlier this week: FOREARMS.

WISTFUL GAZING.
Informative Caption: "Prince Harry visits the Double Jab Boxing Club to support Sport for Social Development initiative."

This is Shanay, who is 13. She is having a very fun day at the boxing club! (I'm not sure who the other man is, here -- if you know, please let me know and I will add it. He is handsome!)

Boom!

Here, "Queen Elizabeth II shakes hands with the Ambassador of Ethiopia, Dr Hailemichael Aberra Afework, who was accompanied by Mrs Abebetch Zeleke Aweke." A+ wardrobe on EVERYONE here.

QE2, Phil, Chaz and Cam all popped over for "the opening of the session of the National Assembly at the Senedd, in Cardiff" and oh my god you guys what is growing out of Camilla's head? Sometimes her love for HUGE WREATHS on her noggin goes to a place of no.

Here, QE2 "is welcomed by the Commonwealth General Secretary Patricia Scotland QC at Marlborough House" and let's all give Patricia Scotland a round of applause for her metallic shoe!

Obviously I love a huge fancy sea horse. But I also love this dress on PhD student Gemma Williams. Gemma! IT'S SO CUTE!

And of course Her Majesty went to the races, because no one loves the ponies like she does.

This is a lovely color on Sophie.

I LOVE this dress on Euj -- although I think she needs a better bra with it -- but I am worried that SHE has caught Kate's Boring Shoe-Itis. GIRLS, NO. I wanted KATE to catch Euj's Interesting Shoe-Itis.

This color is super on her. Heather and I always joke that Beatrice has Resting WTF Face -- I have resting I'm Plotting Your Murder Face -- and you can really see it here.

Also earlier in the week, at the Founders Day Parade at The Royal Hospital Chelsea, Princess Anne reviews her ARMY OF PENSIONERS on their motorized scooters. Sure, this SEEMS harmless, until 35 of them are coming after you on a dark London street in the dead of night. In these outfits. You will be full of terror.

I feel like this is the most jovial she's EVER looked.

Yeah, this seems about right.

Oooooh, I LOVE this.

Thanks to Informative Caption for telling me that "Jarvsomassan" is, and I quote, "a folk fair for musicians." I don't LOVE the neckline here, but the dress as a whole is REALLY charming.

Just thought you probably needed to see Prince Carl Phillip in uniform. SWOON.

I have a question about Swedish National Day: Why is it that the women have to (or get to, I guess) wear the Traditional Costumes, and the dudes just get to wear suits? I WANT MAN COSTUMES.

Give it up for some royal hand-holding!

I feel like Estelle's face so eloquently says, "I'm NEVER going to wear that hat."

Patterned day-dresses ahoy!

"NO, Felipe. YOU were supposed to turn off the meat dehydrator!"

I find this outfit on Letizia overall somewhat boring but I LOVE the shoes. FULL MARKS.

And that coat is lovely and elegant.

Please, someone just let me style her for ONE DAY. I actually like this dress but the SHOES AND BAG WITH IT ARE KILLING ME. You could even do a NAVY shoe with this. I swear, please, I can do this. I will put a darker teal shoe on her and I'm GOING to get her into a different hair cut. I swear to you. GIVE ME A SHOT. I don't even mind her with short hair, but can we make the bob more modern and less news anchor? Please let me get in there! FOR ONE DAY!
