This photo seems like it's going to come in very useful at many different junctures in the near future.

"At least my beard remains!" And his manly forearms.
In the name of Informative Caption, btw, this all actually happened on Tuesday. It's a Rugby Something or Other for Something Something. (The informative caption didn't really give me THAT much info.)

I have NO idea what's happening here....but I like it.

In which we learn that Harry is very capable of giving us a C.

Three cheers for a little jolly street rugby.

Harry and Zara also came out on Saturday to watch Wills play polo, and Zara brought Mia and CUTENESS ENSUED.

Babies were properly snuggled. (There were also several photos of Mia here FLINGING herself down the hill behind them; she seems like a firecracker.)

I like the idea that Wills hopped off his horse and ran over to tickle his cousin really fast, before jumping back into the polo. He and Harry and Zara seem to ADORE each other, which is always nice to see between cousins. I'm sure there was often a lot of eye-rolling at respective parents behind the Christmas tree at Sandringham.

Little Mia got a LOT of love at this event, and rightly so.

"Prize champagne? Kate is going to be THRILLED!"

This was on Monday. You know I cannot resist Sportsfaces, be they delighted or...

...dismayed, and be-reading glassed. I love the REALLY horrified look on that dude in front of Wills. He almost feels like a meme.

Still in the way-back machine: On the final day of Ascot, Beatrice was the VIP Awarder Of Prizes, and said prize was won by her grandmother, which is quite cute.

I think they actually look quite charming here. I appreciate that both York princesses do not shy from a pattern.

Well, well, well, it's former Harry Paramour Chelsy Davy -- who now has a jewelry line, the launch of which Eugenie is attending. (Reminder: Chelsy is also a lawyer, which...I wish she were still practicing law instead of doing the socialite dilettante jewelry line thing, but apparently I don't get a vote in her life? I'd have other notes too, though, if I did. Primarily about what she is wearing.)

QE2 and Phil were in Liverpool on Wednesday, where, among other things, they stood on a balcony in front of a GREAT chandelier and waved. I love the Queen's frock.

"Poppet, did you remember to turn off the frozen daiquiri machine?"

It seems to me that, if one is having a difficult week, perhaps having David Beckham pop by to say hello might lift one's spirits.

They are celebrating National Day over in Luxembourg, and here Prince Guillaume and Princess Stephanie are in Esch. I have serious concerns about Princess Stephanie's personal style. She's only 32; what is this thing she's wearing?

And why does she have two of them? (Although this one is much better.)

From left to right, we've got: Princess Tessy of Luxembourg, Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg, Prince Louis of Luxembourg, Prince Sebastien, Princess Claire, and Prince Felix of Luxembourg. Princess Claire speaks four languages and, per Wiki, "is a German bioethics researcher currently pursuing a doctorate in the field of organ donation ethics." Oh, is that all? She's also wearing very good shoes.

Sometimes Mette-Marit confuses me, also. That suit is...fine, although I don't think the top fits very well.

But, has she just basically tucked this veil behind her ears in place of a hat? I swear, you guys, M-M has never found a bizarre piece of headgear that she didn't adopt immediately.

What did I tell you? (Although this, in fairness, is traditional blah blah blah.)

This is very I'm On a Floaty Summer Vacay And Fully Outfited Myself at Chicos. (Her escort there is Marius Borg Høiby, her son from a previous relationship, who keeps getting in trouble for posting pics of the royal family on Instagram or whatever, which sort of amuses me.)

Princess Ingrid is NOT impressed.
