Ugh, this is so good. It's giving me feelings. Per The BBC, here Harry is meeting with D-Day vets in the room where the Normandy invasion was planned, before they all head off to France.

Again, via the BBC: "The prince then wished them well on their trip to France for the commemorations and added: 'Don't get into trouble and if you do, don't get caught."' Oh, Harry. Sometimes I just love you.

This is the map of the invasion plans, at Southwick House, where, yet again per the BBC, "Harry visited the Map Room where the Supreme Allied Commander, General Dwight D Eisenhower, with naval Commander-in-Chief Admiral Ramsay and Army Commander-in-Chief General Montgomery plotted the campaign." Isn't it so interesting? (When Heather and I were in London in April, we went to the Churchill War Rooms, which ALSO feature a bunch of....you know, really important maps and WW2 stuff, and which are likewise fascinating.) (Whilst he was doing this, Wills had a bunch of meetings about cyber bullying and animal trafficking, none of which were very photogenic. But just so you know, he was also at work this week.)

Can't let this week pass without an Unbuttoning.

There was A LOT of polo playing this weekend, and goodness knows I love White Polo Pants Season. I also enjoy this photo. It's so convivial, both in terms of the brothers chatting (it feels very Nick and Freddie to me, although of course Nick is allergic to horses) and the horses appearing to ALSO be chatting.

I love pictures of people dismounting. I could watch princes mounting and dismounting things all day long.

Wills did a bunch of yoga as a pre-polo warm-up -- most of the riders did, except for Harry, who then suffered a back injury during the game. Harry! You need to warm up! PROTECT YOUR FIRM MUSCULAR BODY.

This photo is....my favorite of the week. Prince Harry + Ron Swanson + Awkward Photobomber Wills = comedy gold.

Per Informative Caption: "Prince Harry presents U.S. Staff Sergeant Elizabeth Marks' gold medal to Consultant Intensivist Dr Alain Vuylsteke and the other members of the medical team from Britain's Papworth Hospital at Kensington Palace. At the 2016 Invictus Games in Orlando, U.S. Staff Sergeant Elizabeth Marks asked Prince Harry to present her 100m swimming freestyle medal to the team at Papworth Hospital, who she credits for saving her life." Mischief managed, then.

I always imagine Harry wandering over to Wills's and Kate's kitchen at Kensington Palace to raid the fridge after having an event there. He ALSO lives at KP (in a tiny apartment), but you know he has nothing to eat in his place.

Camilla attended a wedding this weekend (of one Lady Charlotte Wellesley, whose gown I shall be showing you next because who doesn't love a wedding?) and this AMUSES ME DEEPLY. She looks like she's wearing the cake.

I told you! Charlotte Wellesley here is the daughter of the Duke of Wellington and works for Mario Testino. Her groom is the very handsome Alejandro Santo Domingo, who is a billionaire who went to Harvard.

That train is divine. If you like those kinds of things.

Anne -- here, at the Battle Of Jutland Centenary Commemorations -- always looks so at home in her military uniform. (She's speaking to her husband here; I appreciate that they essentially match.)

I love this dramatic photo of the Queen watching a bust of herself being unveiled.

"This looks NOTHING like us." Personally, if I were Queen, I would insist that all busts made of me would be of me VERY YOUNG and as gorgeous as possible, but I think I would be a far vainer and more imperious Queen than QE2.

Per Informative Caption: "Queen Elizabeth II with the High Commissioner of Fiji, Mr Jitoko Tikolevu, as he presents his credentials during a private audience also attended by his wife, Mrs Luisa Tikolevu." I love this photo, because here it seems like it's Luisa who is perplexed by Her Majesty's Rug.

I like this dress on Eugenie, overall, but the white bits at the sides sort of make it seem as if her bra is showing.

Letizia LOVES this color, and it's good on her, but insert my usual complaining about her shoes.

Ditto. That suit is DIVINE and she looks wonderful in it, but surely she had some interesting black shoes to pair with it? Why must I be so tortured with the beige shoe? PS: Felipe looks DISHY.

Beatrix of Holland is visiting Spain, and what I learned from these photos is that she and Felipe and Letizia LOVE EACH OTHER. Who knew? (Well, surely one of you did.) They embraced. They flung their arms around each other. Felipe kissed her hand. It was sweet.

Letizia apparently ALSO loves herself a triptych.

This past weekend was also the Formula 1 Grand Prix Of Monaco and MY GOD CHARLENE WHAT ARE YOU WEARING. I cannot.

This seems about right.
