Are you ready for everything from hats to old people to uniforms to a very questionable cold-shoulder look on Maxima? Well, GET ready.

We had coverage of[ this week's state dinner here earlier this week](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/trump-queen-state-dinner-06-2019/), and tomorrow is Trooping the Colour -- both Meghan AND Little Prince Louis are meant to be there, so that's exciting -- and we will, of course, be posting about it, so come on by.

And Kate came out yesterday for Beating the Retreat [in a coat that I thought was new but which IS NOT](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/kate-attended-the-beating-retreat-tonight-in-a-new-coat-06-2019/).

Elsewhere!

I spoke to Vogue for this piece earlier in the week: [Was Queen Elizabeth Really Trolling Trump?](https://www.vogue.com/article/donald-trump-uk-state-visit-queen-elizabeth-trolling-shade?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

Related, at History Extra: [From pageantry to controversy: a brief history of state visits](https://www.historyextra.com/period/20th-century/history-state-visit-britain-queen-elizabeth-ii-american-us-presidents-meetings-when-first/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

[Charlotte Casiraghi got married over the weekend (we didn't get the pics)](https://www.vanityfair.com/style/2019/06/charlotte-casiraghi-grace-kelly-wedding-dress?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Vanity Fair has good coverage!

This is a really good piece at Vulture: [What It’s Like to Be Meghan Markle’s Lifetime Movie Doppelgänger.](https://www.vulture.com/amp/2019/06/meghan-markle-lifetime-movie-doppelganger.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) Tiffany Smith seems pretty awesome, actually.

Town and Country [talked to Chris Jackson about shooting the Trump/Charles dinner](https://www.townandcountrymag.com/society/tradition/a27791605/prince-charles-camilla-trump-dinner-chris-jackson-photos/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io); Winfield House, the US Ambassador's residence where it was hosted, has AMAZING WALLPAPER.
