It is rare for me to start with simple puncuation, but: !!!!!!!!!?????!!!!?!?!?!!?
This is like two headbands surprised in the act of making love.

This entire outfit, in fact, is bonkers, and not in a good way. She kind of looks like she's in costume as the ballroom at a four star hotel in 1999.

I misread the caption on this as saying that she is attending a "cape seminar." Sadly, it's only a health care seminar. BOOOOOORING.

"Max, I HEART your new coat," buzzed a text from the Duchess of Cambridge.
"THANKS. See you at the Houndstooth Emporium during the Wives of Heirs and Rulers Convention in August!"

How CUTE are these two? They're on a state visit to France, and this is a bench they donated to a hostel. I've literally never seen two people so thrilled with a bench. Did they MEET on a bench? Regardless: Carry on, you charming pair. I love you.

This coat on Maxima is totally wacky -- it's like FABULOUS UPHOLSTERY FABRIC and it's got a cape back, and I LOVE IT. Sincerely. This is not ironic love. It's WACKY and I would wear it.

Her dress underneath is totally normal. (It goes without saying that it's a very Maxima-y hat. Bless the European royals of the world for keeping hats alive. I hope whomever America's next first lady is, that she attempts to bring back the hat. [This will not happen.] [Also, despite gender pronouns and use of the word "lady," this also applies to you, Bill. I want a fedora. Or a boater!])

Our photo service had this incorrectly captioned as "a model," rather than "Queen Maxima," and I think that just confirms how FOXY she looks in this.

FULL MARKS.

Also, this feels about right.

I appreciate that Chaz is wearing the colors of my collegiate alma mater. Go Bruins, indeed.

In which Rita Ora dresses SO APPROPRIATELY for the occasion. (Sincerely!)

Informative Caption tells me, "President of WOW, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, speaks with former Lord Justice of Appeal Baroness Butler-Sloss (L) at a reception for the Women of the World Festival (WOW) at Clarence House." But I ALSO want to to know who the woman standing between them is, because her outfit is amaaaazing.

This outfit is okay? (It's totally fine from the waist down, of course.) But only with her coat on. Because underneath it she is wearing a cropped sweater vest over an untucked white oxford and it's just no good, Bea. It's very Cher Horowitz after just waking up from a nap.

In which I thank god that no one is taking photos of me dancing at concerts.

Here, per IC, "Queen Elizabeth II meets the High Commissioner for Antigua and Barbuda, Karen Mae-Hill," and Ms Mae-Hill's hat is lovely, and the color of the walls in this room is my jam.

"See, she's the Queen Bee, Your Majesty, rather like you are the...well, you get the metaphor."

Per Informative Caption, "Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME), unveils a plaque to officially open and name the new home of REME 'The Prince Philip Barracks.' Prince Philip toured the barracks, visiting the technical training building to view the facility and meet soldiers, and went on to visit one of the refurbished hangars on the former RAF site." I want someone to count up how many TINY CURTAINS Phil has opened in his life. Like...it must be literally thousands of tiny tiny curtains.

Princess Caroline popped over to Paris to see the Chanel show, as one must do, obviously.

And over in Brussels, Mathilde and Phillipe are hosting the president of Germany and his long-term girlfriend, Daniela Schadt. (He's technically been married to someone else since 1959? Germany seems okay with this? Please give us the scoop, German Fug Nationals). There are SO MANY SASHES happening at this dinner.

And here, so many chandeliers. I feel like I've never seen this many chandeliers in one photo. They're about to gain sentience and take over Brussels, I fear.

I need to know more about Mathilde's shoes.

Letizia is really into roomy coats lately. Like, REALLY. I am not implying anything. I'm just noting a trend.

EVERYONE in blue suits! Even you, Sofia!
