Harry and Meghan's Wedding Invitations!

Harry and Meghan's wedding invitations went out this week and I assume mine is speeding its way toward me RIGHT NOW! I linked to a bunch of info about them in the body of this post, but basically: they're very traditional and pretty, and the ink is American, which pleases me and is right and proper.

We talked about this a bit last week, but the pics didn't come in before I published last week's Fugs and Pieces (and I didn't know to look for them). Wedding gown time! Last Friday, in Lima, Peru, Prince Christian of Hanover married Alessandra de Osma.  His mother is a Swiss chocolate heiress, and his stepmother is Princess Caroline, and his dad is the real piece of work that Caroline won't divorce because she doesn't want to take the title downgrade. Said father of the groom had to be put into a medically induced coma after this wedding because he drank too much. That is a SITUATION. She was once a model, and now a lawyer, and her dress is very pretty.

Princess Beatrice (in Tommy Hilfiger) and Princess Eugenie (in Peter Pilotto) were apparently the British representatives for this gig (or maybe even know these particular Hanovers; the civil ceremony was in London, so they may live there, and of course they are cousins). They both look cute here!

It seems to be State Visit Time, as Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria-Theresa of Luxembourg are visiting France. (Henri is the royal I always think of as, "the one who looks like Richard Chamberlain.") M-T's coatdress is CUTE

She also seems to have pulled out the emeralds for this event, which I deeply appreciate. Madame Macron also looks nice, although I have some notes about her aggressive epaulettes.

Chaz visits Lincolnshire

Isn't this a great photo? Her Majesty looks divine. Informative Caption tells us, "the Royal Academy of Arts has completed a major redevelopment of its galleries for the academy's 250th anniversary year." Obvs the Queen had to pop over to re-open it.

Rania (and her husband) are ALSO on a state visit, having popped over to see Max and Wax. They look so coordinated here, but Maxima looks also vaguely wacky, which is on brand. This is not my fave Rania jam, I have to admit.
