I miss you, Maxima.

Informative Caption tells us that, here, "King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands [are seen] during the National WWII Memorial and wreath-laying Ceremony at National Monument on Dam Square" on Remembrance Day. This is usually a very crowded event, but of course not in These Times. I am pleased Maxima managed to find a dramatic yet somber topper.

HONESTLY, bless Maxima. She looks like a hugely unsubtle murderer here. That is a compliment.

This square is usually jammed with people. This is very poignant.

Here, "King Philippe and Queen Mathilde pay tribute to the tomb of the unknown soldier in Brussels on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe," as well. Maths looks...fine? I sort of hate gloves in that color on her because their similarity to her own skin tone feels sort of....creepy to me. I can't think about this too long.

"God, these shots of them staring at that screen are getting BORING. What to do, what to do? I KNOW. BACK OF THE HEAD SHOTS. Get a new perspective on this room! You're a genius!"

Here, Chaz and Camz -- looking smart, both of them -- are "walking to take part in a two minute silence to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day at the Balmoral War Memorial. During the event Prince Charles laid a wreath and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall placed flowers at the memorial."

Balmoral is PRETTY.
