National Day Celebrations, Monaco

The National Day Celebrations are always a big to-do in Monaco, but obviously they were somewhat (??) toned down (I think???) because of the pandemic. Everyone looks v. dramatic -- Charlene's coat is major. The kidlets are, naturally, adorable. Lil Jacques looks like he's having an existential crisis. JOIN THE CLUB!

Princess Gabriella REALLY looks like Charlene to me now. This is obviously all very cute. She has a question!

Charlene really does look like a glamorous lady villain in a Judith Krantz adaptation.

Here, we've got: Princess Caroline, Pierre Casiraghi and his little baby Stefano Casiraghi, Tatiana Santo Domingo and Andrea Casiraghi (behind that out-of-focus shoulder). They all look chic and mean, which is an aesthetic I appreciate. (Well, not the bebe. He's chic and ADORABLE.)

Informative Caption tells us "Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Prince Philip look at their homemade wedding anniversary card, given to them by their great grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, in the Oak Room at Windsor Castle ahead of their 73rd wedding anniversary." (A) Although that's a typo, I like the idea of "Prince Philip, Prince Philip" being the sequel to "Rochelle, Rochelle." (B) At first, I thought they were looking through take-out menus. RELATABLE.

This is interesting. This is the newest Belgian princess, doing an engagement (for flu vaccines). I was under the impression that she basically just wanted to be recognized (and get a title and income), but I guess she's doing events? Good for her!
