Monaco's National Day was this past Tuesday and I have thoughts! One of my thoughts are that THESE CHILDREN ARE A HOOT. BOTH of their facial expressions are hilarious here.

Louis is Stephanie's son (his father was her bodyguard) and he and Marie got married this year -- this is the first year she's come to this event, I think. She's very pretty and I wish her dress had committed to the ruffles? (Marrying into THIS family ALSO must be complicated. I've always heard that both Stephanie and Caroline are sort of mean to poor Charlene.)

I assume Charlotte ate a lizard FOR SCIENCE and she needed to sort this. Anyway! People still looked very well turned out at this event! From left to right here, we've got Jeneria Lekilelei, Benson Kanyembo, Wills, Tomas Diagne, Carlos Lopes Pereira and Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka.

TECHNICALLY, Harry is "giving a speech on stage before announcing the winners of the Health and Wellbeing category at the inaugural OnSide Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London," but he sort of looks like he's about to burst into song in the quarter finals of The Voice.

Camilla Duchess of Cornwall visits Kerikeri Primary School
Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall visit to New Zealand - 20 Nov 2019
Kerikeri Primary School is involved in Enviroschools, an environmental action-based programme where young people design and lead sustainability projects in their schools, neighbourhoods and country. The school participates in Garden to Table, where children grow vegetables and fruit and then learn how to cook them. This includes the social aspect of preparing food for others and sharing meals together. The school also partners with St John and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in their Outreach Therapy Pets programme. A specially-trained dog, Meg, works with children, particularly those with additional needs, in the library.
Y'all, Informative Caption tells me that here, a "specially-trained dog, Meg, works with children, particularly those with additional needs, in the library." CHILDREN AND LIBRARY DOGS! Please beam me to this event! Meg looks very interested in where this story is going, also.

Here, Her Maj "presents the Chatham House Prize 2019 to Sir David Attenborough and Julian Hector, Head of the BBC Natural History Unit." This was the day that Andrew stepped back from official royal duties and she looks very jaunty!
