Here, per Informative Caption, the two of them are at "a Service in the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey," which is part of the UK's Remembrance Day events ([which is similar to Memorial Day here in the United States](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remembrance%5FDay?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)). (Actual Remembrance Day is on Sunday.) Also, this is a GREAT photo. ## The Queen Receives The President Of Kazakhstan ![royals-round-up](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/11/GettyImages-495597358.jpg) "Queen Elizabeth II, accompanied by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Andrew, Duke of York, receives the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Deputy Prime Minister Dariga Nazarbayeva at Buckingham Palace." Andy is not pictured -- I assume he wandered inside to see if the gift shop still had those little chocolate things he likes. The Deputy Prime Minister here (whose pink ensemble I quite like) is also the President's daughter, and he appointed her. FYI, no election held in Kazakhstan has ever met international standards for a legit election. Her Wiki is FULL OF SHADE. For example: "Dariga served as a jury member in the second season of SuperStar KZ. She is an avid amateur opera singer. In spite of the lack of formal vocal training Dariga often performs opera arias at various concerts and events." Her husband also claims the president there divorced the two of them without his consent! [The President's Wiki is also quite fascinating/horrifying](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nursultan%5FNazarbayev?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Apparently, he has 85 MILLION DOLLARS in a Swiss bank account, which is very unsuspicious! WHOOPS, turns out it was supposed to go into the treasury. So he handled that by passing a bill granting himself immunity! Additionally: "When Kazakh opposition newspaper Respublika reported in 2002 that Nazarbayev had in the mid-nineties secretly stashed away $1 billion of state oil revenue in Swiss bank accounts, the decapitated carcass of a dog was left outside the newspaper's offices, with a warning reading 'There won't be a next time'; the dog's head later turned up outside editor Irina Petrushova's apartment, with a warning reading 'There will be no last time.' The newspaper was firebombed as well." Kazakhstan has terrible human rights standards as well. (People) -- I giggled at this headline, in Hello! Princess Charlotte turns 6 months old: All we know about the young royal. Let me see. We know her parents' names. We know who her nanny is. We know she's a baby! I DO think we'll get photos of her and George in the next month or so. (George's Christmas pics came out at the beginning of December, which I know because it was a surprise, and it happened while I was at a holiday event with my parents. I WAS JUST TRYING TO LIVE MY LIFE, KATE.) -- Oooooh, look at this tiara at Order of Splendor! -- Tatler brings you a GIANT slideshow of Prince Harry pics. -- Okay, so this is in the Daily Mail (I KNOW), so take that with all of the grains of salt you require, but I totally read it because I'm an unconfirmed gossip-loving monster: How Camilla is hunting for a wife for Harry: The Duchess 'loves to be involved' in finding 'right girl' for the prince. My favorite alleged detail is that Harry is apparently getting the title that we gave to Nick in the book.
