This dates from when CPM and CPF were at the UN -- embargo lifted! -- and I hope this is her current Facebook profile pic. (I assume her fake Facebook name is, like, "Kate Middleton.")
This certainly says, "SERIOUS EVENT ABOUT THE WORLD."
This was at an event celebrating 25 years of gay marriage in Denmark (way to go, Denmark, although apparently it's technically 2 years of gay marriage and 25 years of civil partnerships [the Getty caption confused me]), and these two dudes with her are the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, Frank Jensen, and American Ambassador to Denmark, Rufus Gifford. Mary looks very nice -- if staid; try some jewelry, Mar! -- and now we all know one totally important thing: the US Ambassador to Denmark is TOTALLY CUTE.
This is a VERY GOOD LOOK for both of these two. Super glam.
I always like it when he matches his tie to her shirt. It's just cute to me.
I have literally never been able to resist the crowd shot. (And here, I suppose, the very rare Lady Buttoning Her Suit Jacket.)
"You want me to do WHAT with this?"
This sort of feels like she got cold at the last minute and grabbed the first blazer she saw.
But this is MADLY cute and super right for a Red Cross event, and might be my favorite thing she's worn in a long time. On the whole: GOOD JOB this week, Letizia.
I did not even know that the Spanish royals HAD wax figures, but of course they do! The Princess Leonor figure is new AND TERRIFYING, apparently to match her mother, who also looks UNRECOGNIZABLE AND TERRIFYING. I may never sleep again.
Ahem, per our image service: "HRH Prince Carl Philip of Sweden at the grinder of Dongfeng Race Team during the ProAm Race for the Volvo Ocean Race in Alicante, Spain. The Volvo Ocean Race 2014-15 is the 12th running of this ocean marathon. Starting from Alicante in Spain on October 4, 2014, the route, spanning some 39,379 nautical miles, visits 10 ports in 10 countries (Spain, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, China, New Zealand, Brazil, United States, Portugal, France and Sweden) over nine months. The Volvo Ocean Race is the world's premier ocean race for professional racing crews." That sounds fun and also FOREARMS.
She's in Dior -- the entire event was Dior sponsored; there's a write-up of it from the Los Angeles Times that you might find interesting -- and I am slightly concerned about what they're going to do to her henceforth.
I'm confused by essentially everything happening at this school visit. If this is a relay race, that's not how you do it!
THIS on the other hand feels like total business as usual.
Apparently, her bow did NOT hit the mark. No secret life as a Robin Hood-esque glamorous archer/forest-bandit for Sophie. Although if she WERE secretly robbing from the rich and giving to the poor (a) she WOULD hide her secret archery skills in public and (b) she's in a very good position to do said job.
I feel like there's something SLIGHTLY weird about the proportions on this, but overall, she looks good. Imagine this with a patterned shoe, Sophie! JUST IMAGINE.
THE SCOURGE OF BEIGE SHOES CONTINUES.
"Here we go with this whole thing again. God."
"WHO IS EVEN LOOKING AT THE RUG?" Angie got the Insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George (making her an honorary Dame) for her "services to UK foreign policy and the campaign to end war zone sexual violence." Hardly the most important fact in this paragraph, but not for nothing, she also looks PERFECT. Ralph & Russo knock it out of the park again.
I will never love these Taco Shoes, but overall, Bea looks lovely here, no?
Meanwhile, Pierre's tie is too short.
Guillaume and Stef are visiting Japan at the moment, and her coatdress is very cute. Is she ALSO pregnant? I have some suspicions. UTERINE SUSPICIONS.
