Sophie and Edward are in Brunei because, per Informative Caption, "the Sultan of Brunei's 50th anniversary of accession to the throne is being celebrated across Brunei in October with grand celebrations for his Golden Jubilee." Sophie looks nice -- her clutch is FAB. (In trying to suss out its brand, I found out that her favorite employee left royal service after 30 years to become a MONK in January.)

This was "a tour of mangroves around Bandar Seri Begawan," where apparently they saw monkeys and crocodiles and I assume Sophie cursed Kate for talking her into bringing wedges.

Wills Visits Belfast

Speaking of Kate, I assume she is barfing and also texting Meghan things like, "Do you like lace sleeves? I like lace sleeves." While she's busy doing that -- although we ARE due to see her out and about again on Tuesday, FYI -- Wills popped over to Belfast for an official visit. According to Informative Caption, here he is visiting "the Titanic Quarter, where he saw a demonstration by Lagan Rescue and help launch a new life boat - The Ray of Hope." (He's holding the bottle of Bushmills he used to christen said boat.)

So, Ed and Sophs are in Brunei, Wills is in Belfast, Harry is back in the UK resting on his Invictus laurels (rightly), Kate's hydrating somewhere, the Queen is being majestic somewhere else, Anne is coming up later, and as you see here, Chaz is in Malta craddling rehabilitated sea turtles!

Apparently, he's in Malta because the UK presented the George Cross to the island seventy-five years ago. As ever, Wiki is fairly interesting on this point; it sounds like Malta was a NIGHTMARE during the war. Here, he's been greeted by Prime Minister and his family, including these very smartly dressed muffins, Etoile Ella and Soleil Sophie. (Camilla didn't come to Malta because she had to go open an airport in Scotland.

The Danes Open Parliament
