Her Majesty is back from Balmoral and AS YET THE BEARD LIVES! (I hope I didn't jinx that, as I type this on a Thursday afternoon. If I awake tomorrow and we are beardless, you can blame me.) Anyway, Harry did loads this week, all of which was in his area of strength, namely looking hot in a blue suit, gamboling with children, and attending sporting events.

He also posed joyfully with plaques!

Let's check in with Informative Caption: "Prince Harry visits Paignton Rugby Club in Devon to present them with an RFU Gold Standard facilities award...The Prince visited the club to present the award and to see how the RFU's All Schools Programme, of which he is Patron, is developing greater opportunities for young people to enjoy the game."

I love how all of these photos look like the baseball/soccer/t-ball team photos you'll see at the local pizza place, because the owner of Saucy Sal's (or whatever) sponsors the team. But in this case, Prince Harry is our Saucy Sal. I think we all knew that, though.

It's up to you as to whether this child has a PRESSING QUESTION or an IMMEDIATE NEED for a high five.

Regardless, Harry got a new pair of shoes out of it.

With his name on them, no less. (I am generally rendered weak-kneed by a monogram.)

"This will prevent Wills from stealing these. FINALLY."

Hazza also popped over to variety of games at the rugby world cup, like this one, where he chatted about Empire to this important looking dude. (I assume that's what they're talking about. Empire is really good!)

He also went to the England v. Australia match, which brought with it the usual SportsFaces, such as this one. You can see fellow beard enthusiast and brother-in-law James Middleton at the bottom of the frame, and Kate's dad at the bottom left corner; it was clearly in-laws day at rugby. (Carole Middleton was also there, and drank like a whole little single-serving bottle of wine AND ate a bunch of chips, which makes me think I want to hang out at Carole Middleton's house.)

We haven't had any suits buttoned or unbuttoned lately. I'm here to fix that problem.

Hark, Informative Caption! "Prince Harry meets Nellie-Mai Evans, 9, winner of the Inspirational Young Person Award in the 7-10 year-old age group, as he attends the WellChild Awards, which recognizes the courage of seriously ill children." (A) I love her shoes. You look awesome, Nellie-Mai! And, (b) PLEASE HAVE CHILDREN WITH ME, PRINCE HARRY. I mean. Um. Did I type that? Never mind. Moving on.

HOW CUTE IS SHE IN HER TIARA? These photos are just the BEST. (I believe this is a penguin she made for him, which is also the cutest thing.)

Bea went to some Global Women Event, and, frankly, I think she looks great in this, although I always want to tell her to stand up straight, because I'm old. She has been making the red carpet/photo opp rounds lately -- between this and fashion week, and I saw shots a couple of weeks ago where she and Eugenie and Fergie actually stopped and posed for the paparazzi. I feel like, as Wills and Kate expand their family, and knowing that Harry will eventually get married, the York sisters are probably wondering what their roles are in the grand scheme of things, and they get further and further from the action.

Queen Rania was also at the Women in the World summit. I feel like I ought to like this outfit better than I actually do. I think she needs MORE feathers. Her feathering seems anemic.

Meanwhile, over in The Netherlands, Maxima and W-A popped out of the palace to hang out with a variety of retired miners.

Oh, Maxima. YOUR HAT. It is ridiculous. It's like a bird's nest that was trapped in a coal mine....so, at least perhaps it is thematic?

I LOVE this blue on Maxima, who is here meeting with Rwanda's president Paul Kagame.

I continue to reel from the knowledge that Mathilde is only two and a half years older than I am. I might need to put on a GIANT SHOULDER BOW to deal with it. (I actually like this wacky outfit on her, but now that I know she's not 55 years old, I want to un-newscaster her hair.)

Here's P and M meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and his wife Emine. I feel like, one day soon Maxima and Mathilde will show up wearing this color at the same event. In other news, Phil is going to get props at the next Meeting of Royal Blue Suit Enthusiasts for his get-up.

I do like this on Mathilde. I enjoy a lace sleeve.

We need to turn to Informative Caption for details here: "King Felipe VI of Spain, Queen Letizia of Spain and Ana de Orleans attend the Corpore Insepulto mass for Carlos de Borbon Dos Sicilias, second cousin of King Juan Carlos, and Duke of Calabria...Carlos de Borbon was born in 1938 and attended school with King Juan Carlos, where they became very good friends. He ranked first in the line of succession after the descendants of Don Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia."
Per Wiki, he also was A PRETENDER TO THE THRONE and also his betrothal caused dynastic turmoil and eventually required the usage of different titles on the wedding invitations, depending to whom that invite was sent. I LOVE dynastic turmoil with stationery at its core!

This is super SUPER cute and also surprisingly short!

It's also quite cute without the coat. I have no issue with Letizia taking her legs out for some air, myself.

I think I always compliment this blazer. I continue to enjoy it.

These two took a two-day jaunt to Darlarna, which is, per Wiki, "a historical province or landskap in central Sweden...[adjoining] Härjedalen, Hälsingland, Gästrikland, Västmanland and Värmland." I think I quoted that exact same bit last time someone went to Dalarna! Anyway, I enjoy that coat on Sofia and that face on C-P. (I believe Sofia hails from Dalarna.)

As ever, the Swedes are forced to wear a lab coat of some sort to do something for a camera. Here, I assume AND WILL NOT HEAR OTHERWISE that Sofia is making us all some pizza.

I do LOVE Royal Hand-Holding.

I guess it's chilly in Dalarna right now. Stay warm, my Swedish friends!

I also enjoy Royal Stocking Caps.

I also love wallpaper, and that's not a total non-sequitur. Take it over, Informative Caption! "Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway presents a Norwegian textile that was originally donated to the United Nations to Director of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum...The Norwegian textile was the original wallpaper from the United Nations Security Chamber and was originally donated to the United Nations in 1952. "

She has historical wallpaper AND a dreamy spouse. I'm so jealous.
