WE SEE INSIDE THE PURSE! It appears to have reading glasses. SCANDAL!

This is a great shot. Per Informative Caption: "Queen Elizabeth II travels on a steam train to inaugurate the new £294 million Scottish Borders Railway, on the day [she] becomes Britain's longest reigning monarch."

I enjoy that she here appears to be wondering what the hell everyone is looking at.

This was earlier in the week; one of her most cake-like lids.

INFORMATIVE CAPTION: "Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Autumn Phillips and her husband Peter Phillips stand for the national anthem at the Braemar Gathering," which, from what I could tell, involved LOTS of men in kilts, some of whom were throwing giant logs and whatnot.

COZY! I guess it's been chilly in Scotland this past week. (I also enjoy that Autumn appears to be sleep here. She's NOT, but you know. She COULD be.)

Whereas Bea is in New York, at the "Derek Lam 10C Athleta launch party" and it appears that she is dealing with the humidity about as well as everyone else (AKA not well).

PUPPIES!

Per IC: "Former British Prime Minister Sir John Major with the Countess of Wessex at The Royal Society in central London during an event hosted by The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust to mark the day Queen Elizabeth II became the longest serving Monarch." Sophie could use a wee pop of color, no?

I included more intel about this Otillio 2015 Swim-Run Championship that Pippa and James did for her birthday in the links but suffice to say I shall never do that for my birthday, EVER. And also, James looks ever more like one of William's long-dead grandparents, come back to life to make sure he and Kate got together. That's probably true, right?

BEER.

CHEESE. Charles is visiting all of my favorite food groups.

ALSO visiting a cheese factory -- PLEASE make this be a world-wide trend -- is Maxima. A hairnet is, amusingly, not the wackiest of her headgear.

WHAT IS THIS??? I am terrified to think what is happening on the bottom. This is her jumpsuit, isn't it? ISN'T IT?

PHEW. This is glorious. I feel so much better now. Thanks, Charlene.

They really do seem about a kajillion percent happier than they used to, which is a nice thing to see, and an unusual one.

Princess Sofia attended the Global Child Forum on Southern Africa in Pretoria, South Africa, and looks very sharp doing so.

SPEAKING OF SHARP.

"Love muffin, did you remember to turn off the food dehydrator?"

And finally, Crown Princess Victoria takes her new baby bump out for a spin. Sure, sure, the miracle of life, whatever. I know what you really want to see....

HELLO LOVERS.
