So Princess Charlene is out there riding a water bike around -- for charity -- and truly this looks incredibly physically difficult. Thank god no one ever asks me to do anything physically

I am exhausted by the sheer number of things being TIED on this look. Also, the proportions are totally wacky. And everything feels flared. I just...I get where she was going here, but no.

Prinsjesdag ceremony, The Hague

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Robin Utrecht/Shutterstock (10777298r) Arrival of Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander at the Prinsjesdag ceremony, The Hague. The ceremony looks different this year, due to the measures surrounding the coronavirus. Prinsjesdag ceremony, The Hague, The Netherlands - 15 Sep 2020

This event -- per Wiki, "the day on which the reigning monarch of the Netherlands addresses a joint session of the Dutch Senate and House of Representatives to give the speech from the throne setting out the main features of government policy for the coming parliamentary session" -- is usually a big old to-do, but they toned it down this year because of the pandemic. (I believe they also used to arrive at this in a carriage that someone pointed out earlier this year had problematic images on it, and they showed up in a car this time, which was definitely smart.) This is also a rewear from Maxima. Not like a very low-key one, but still. I believe she is also wearing a golden branch on her head, which seems in character.

Yes, friends, for a moment I thought that was a Christmas tree, and I appreciate the Dutch for saying the hell with it, and getting into the spirit early.
