Y'all, royals summer is OVER! People are back out and about and wearing giant hats and *thank god.* Additionally: Willem-Alexander grew a summer beard, and I gotta admit...I'm into it.

In case you missed it yesterday, [it was Princess Charlotte's first day of school and it was VERY CUTE](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/aw-its-princess-charlottes-first-day-of-school-09-2019/).

Elsewhere on the internet:

The New York Times has p[rofiled Princess Beatrice's boyfriend (professionally)](https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/02/realestate/london-luxury-property-undervalued-neighborhoods.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).

In honor of Wills and Kate's upcoming royal tour, at Tatler: [The Royals in Pakistan](https://www.tatler.com/gallery/royals-on-tour-in-pakistan?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

I wonder if this will continue: [Prince Andrew engagements in Northern Ireland cancelled in wake of Epstein scandal](https://news.sky.com/story/prince-andrew-engagements-in-northern-ireland-cancelled-in-wake-of-epstein-scandal-11801621?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Sky News\]

This is cute, at Elle: [Wills and Kate took the kids out for a pub dinner at their usual spot. ](https://www.elle.com/culture/celebrities/a28881273/prince-william-kate-middleton-family-pub-dinner/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)The anecdote about George is VERY cute (and also I think he really hates people looking at him, which is gonna be...a situation for him later).

[Meghan is in New York right now, in advance of tomorrow's US Open women's final.](https://people.com/royals/meghan-markle-flies-new-york-serena-williams-us-open-final/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (She's just in the US for the weekend.) I'm sure we'll have coverage of it tomorrow, so come on by. \[People\]

[Harper's Bazaar has the scoop on the Sussexes' tour of South Africa, Botswana, Malawi and Angola](https://www.harpersbazaar.com/celebrity/latest/a27950856/meghan-markle-prince-harry-royal-tour-africa-2019/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), which will be running September 23rd (the day after the Emmys, squeak all of the pop culture reporters in unison) to October 2nd. Unrelated, I am very tired!!!!
