Little Prince Alexander was christened today at Drottningholm Palace in Stockholm and isn't this very romantic and sweet? He, in the grand tradition of babies everywhere, SERIOUSLY DOES NOT Care.

Princes Oscar and Alexander are DELIGHTED BY EACH OTHER. Meanwhile, all the princesses of Sweden really love headbands right now.

This baby is just like, "You like Cheeks? I'VE GOT SOME CHEEKS FOR YOU."

I love Crown Princess Victoria's dress here (although I do think the headband is a step too far). Estelle is, as ever, perfection. And Oscar is one chubby grumpy noodle and I want to nibble on him.

Everyone here looks lovely, and three-fourths of them seem vaguely irritated. I do love Madeleine's patterned dress.

The Queen is in Balmoral for the moment -- and has forced everyone to come up and hang out with her for the rest of the summer (I think Wills and Kate and the kids are there right now, actually. Harry is MISSING. [Not really. He's back in London as of last night.]). Anyway, every summer she attends this event and people Highland Fling for her and toss giant logs and whatnot. She is clearly delighted.

It's also always entertaining to see everyone kicking it in their kilts. I remain enraged that Harry and Wills have not had a Kilt Event in recent memory. I DEMAND KNEES.

Anne's obviously got her eye on some nefarious tug-of-war aficionado.

Same.

Chaz and Cams did a LOT of events this week, and naturally one of them involved stabbing a cake with a sword....

...riding a smart and petite motorcycle...

And hosting a tea for "veterans, widows and members of the Battle of Britain Fighter Association" at Clarence House. Which I enjoy because it's a lovely event -- you know Camilla always gets along swimmingly with those old guys and it warms my heart -- but also because I get a really good look inside these rooms, and I am very nosy.

Informative Caption is telling me that Camilla here is presenting "Flight Officer Ken Wilkinson with a bottle of Highgrove whiskey," but to me it looks more like they're fighting over it.

Clarence House has SO MANY tchotchkes. Look at all this STUFF! Isn't it neat? Wouldn't you say his collection's complete?

So, this event ALSO brought us some good pics. Here, Chaz is speaking "to the handlers of a couple of shire horses during the celebration of the creation of The Queen's Meadow as part of his nationwide Coronation Meadows project in Green Park...The Prince of Wales founded the Coronation Meadows project to mark the 60th anniversary of The Queen's Coronation. The aim was to create a wildflower meadow in every British county. " Which is lovely, and also brought us the following...

I believe the correct caption for this photo is, "holy shit, we just ran past Prince Charles!"

Ditto. (I LOVE the look of delight on that woman's face. I hope she's there on vacation.)

Meanwhile, Camilla got to flirt with David Gandy.

Informative Caption tells me that this is Toby, a four month old Dachshund. (This is at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, which is the animal rescue organization of which Camilla is the patron, and from whom she got her own animals.)

David Gandy is ALL UP in Royals Round-Up today.

Hey, look, it's Sophie! I'm sure that Kate texted her a congratulations on the success of her lacy frock.

This is from last week, but I thought it was cute/interesting, as we never get to see The Royal Chopper, really.

THE BEARD IS BACK.

And so is my favorite skirt of Letizia's. Thank GOD everyone is leaving the house again.

Applause for Mathilde pulling her hair back like this. It's very fetching.

Baby steps. Baby steps.

Meanwhile, back in Monaco, Charlene is very busy teaching children first aid.
