She looks so happy to be stateside again! This dress feels dated, but cute, and her hair looks great so...carry on, Jen. Go have a margarita in peace. (Also, fun fact: Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow joined her at this, although I do not have that picture. INSTAGRAM HAS PROVIDED.)

Olivia Wilde in Valentino

Please add this to the file of "She Might Be a Stylish Victorian Ghost Currently Haunting You." (I sort of like that vibe, though.)

Julia Garner

This feels very much like she LOVED her Liza Minnelli Halloween cosume and she's just gonna keep wearing it! (In part because, at first, I thought her bag was a hat.) (Also, I continue to be delighted she won an Emmy this year. She is such a good actor. That's all!)

Chrissy Metz in Eloquii

This is very elegant and angelic. It's also covered in tiny sequins? I love. (Eloquii is ALL IN on sequins right now, in case this is news you can use.)

Ava Duvernay

I THINK she's worn this before and I also loved it then. (I'm very pro re-wear for a formal gown. LET US SEE THEM AGAIN!)

Constance Wu in Etro

Ahhhh, this is pleasant. She looks good in the Rich Bohemian vibe and I wish she'd go there more often.

Awkwafina in Monique Lhuiller

First: I love the shoe choice. Second: This feels like a Sexy Widow and I'm interested in seeing more of that vibe from her.

Cynthia Erivo

This is FANTASTICALLY glam!

Gabrielle Carteris

And here's your SAG-AFTRA president. It will NEVER stop being perfect to me that Andrea Zuckerman is president of SAG-AFTRA. (This year, from what I gather, Matthew Modine ran against her and, of course, lost. Matthew Modine, you fool. It was apparently a VERY intense election; don't go up against Zuckerman when the presidency is on the line. It turns out that it was a VERY intense election, which....I mean, they ARE actors. They're gonna be dramatic about it. Even the comments on that post are all worked up.)

Camryn Manheim

4th Annual Patron of the Artists Awards, at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on November 7, 2019 in Beverly Hills, CA Featuring: Camryn Manheim Where: Beverly Hills, California, United States When: 08 Nov 2019 Credit: Nicky Nelson/WENN.com

Fun fact! Camryn Manheim was Gabrielle Carteris's running mate, and is now secretary-treasurer of SAG-AFTRA. She does seem competent! Also: I really like her on Stumptown. Apparently, every three days I write a post mentioning that I like Stumptown, but this is true. It's maybe the only new network show I am going to keep watching? (I like everyone on Emergence but I feel like the plot is going off the rails already.)

David Oyelowo

He looks as handsome as always.

David Harbour

I do NOT know what's happening here. It's got a real Travolta feeling.

Angela Bassett, Courtney B Vance

And these two look like they just popped in on the way home from a very nice dinner. (They look great! Can we talk about how ANGELA'S FACE is PERFECT? Thank you. This is what I think most of the time during 911, which is incredibly hammy, not very good, and during which I often cry???? I don't know, you guys!)

Andrea Zuckerman Hosted A Big Party
Fine, it's a SAG-AFTRA shindig. But people SHOWED UP.
