Alison Brie in Miu Miu

She said on the red carpet that she was sewn into this, and you can kind of tell? It's...not great? She looks like the angel of death at Coachella.

Having said that, I think the back of this -- the insane bow/wings -- is actually the best part, if also the most ridiculous. It sort of feels like the folks at Miu Miu spent all their time on this and then forgot to add the finishing touches to the rest. (The bow did, allegedly, take four people to make.)

Britney Young in custom Tadashi Shoji

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I almost wish the legs on this jumpsuit were WIDER.  She looks good, though. Christian Siriano gets a lot of (deserved) love for dressing women of all sizes for these events, but Tadashi Shoji has also long been friendly to women who wear a size larger than 6.

Ellen Wong

I would have argued for a stronger lip, but this is slinky fun.

Betty Gilpin in Krikor Jabotian

And this might be the best she's EVER looked? Additionally: She is the best. On the red carpet, she said that she always looks like "an evil rich heiress whose life is crashing down tomorrow" AND "a sleepy, mad chameleon," because she doesn't know what to do with her face. Betty, you are welcome to take over my job at any time.

This is pretty! I sort of wish she had, like, an emerald bag for a pop of contrasting color.

This is a memorable choice and I appreciate its quirkiness but I might wish it were a different color?

Kate Nash in Manish Arora

This is kooky and also kind of perfect for her personality? (It took me a VERY long time to realize that she is the same Kate Nash who sang "Foundations," a song I listened to A LOT back in the day.)

Britt Baron

This is super reasonable.

She had a great night -- nominated for both GLOW and Black Panther, and winning for the latter. All that, and this color is great on her.

She looks SO much different here than she does on the show that it's always sort of a surprise to be faced with her (not in a bad way). I actually think this dress is really neat.

Sunita Mani

Sure! This color is great.

You can see the detailing on her Shoulder Flaps better here, and I like how sort of Disney Tomorrowland Couture this feels.

Shakira Barrera

Shakira is Nicaraguan-American, and her train is the Nicaraguan flag (without the seal in the middle of it, I believe); her purse says "Free Nicaragua" on it. (There is A LOT going on in Nicaragua right now.)
