Absent Naomi Watts this season, someone needed to slide into the void of Sublimely Fit Gown With Statement Neckpiece. Amy Adams clearly heard the clarion call and was like, "I've got this." I often dig at Maxwell's stuff for fit issues, but this is utter precision, and she styled it perfectly. Yes, okay, it looks vaguely like a bloodthirsty sea creature is suckling on her collarbone and wrist, but... you know, *beautifully*. I can't believe she didn't get Oscar-nominated for *Arrival*, because she is a marvel in that movie. You know I love you, Meryl, but if Amy has a Streep Voodoo Doll in her house I would totally understand.
