She had to walk SO CAREFULLY in this thing, and there were times when it got away from her -- like when she went up to get her award and I genuinely thought we were going to see her crotch on TV. She cannot have been too happy about that - she seemed lukewarm at best when she was on the red carpet, although she tried - and I suspect she just didn't love a lot of her options and thus tried to roll with this one. The odds were not ever in her favor.

Also, if you look at the slit, does it look like someone quickly threw two extra stitches in there to keep it from opening even HIGHER?

Her makeup is lovely - I really enjoy seeing her in that strong lipstick, for a change - but the neckline is where this loses me a little bit again. Well, that, and the knots. This is kin to the orange mini that Rita Ora just wore, and although its' BETTER,it's still just a bit overworked.

The pros here are: The dress gives her a really hourglass-y shape, and shows off the fact that her legs are fab. I would like those attached to my body.

That seam coming over her right cheek is distracting. I love the idea of that pop of orange -- tying her makeup to it was clever -- but practically speaking, why did this need an elastic luggage strap on it?

For real, that's the restraint you see inside a suitcase, pulled across your clothes and then locked in place to keep them from spilling out all over the place.
