I just love this. It's so graceful and elegant -- without being boring, or mumsy. I love a pattern on the red carpet, and this dress makes it look easy.

This does not look easy, exactly, but I don't dislike it. I found it a bit overwhelming when I saw it on the red carpet, but I was always going to come around on something this shiny. (I might be worried that the styling is weird? Wouldn't a clutch, and jewelry, in a color, have worked better? Just a thought.)

This is, certainly, A LOT of look, as Siriano's former mentor Tim Gunn might have pointed out.

Her face, as ever, is lovely -- and I quite liked her in Brooklyn -- but I've come to the conclusion that I never really enjoy this shape.

SPEAKING OF A LOT OF LOOK. Of all the Schiaparelli in the world, I wish she'd worn this one.

I do like the CONCEPT of January Jones dressed like a browsy, plotty society matron in an adaptation of an Edith Wharton novel, though. Can we make that happen?

And it's kind of great from the back. Maybe we call this a draw.
