Gabrielle Carteris

gabrielle carteris andrea zuckerman sag awards 2015

Let's all give Andrea points for not needing a bracelet.

Emmy Rossum in Armani Prive

emmy rossum sag awards 2015

This dress was interesting because whenever the light hit the skirt, it REALLY lit up that part of it. I know it's kind of blocky that way, but to me it's actually kind of captivating that the light has such a transformative effect.

Sophia Bush in Vivienne Westwood

sophia bush sag awards 2015

This Westwood looks messier than usual, although the color is good on her. But I need to know: Why do we think Sophia Bush went blonde? I don't actually think it's good on her. Brooke Davis would not approve.

Patricia Arquette in Vivienne Westwood

patricia arquette sag awards 2015

This is very pretty and well-fitted to her, and I suspect we'll see something extremely similar at the Oscars. My prediction is red.

Amanda Peet in J. Mendel

amanda peet sag awards 2015

Amanda gave birth four days after Rosamund Pike did. Knowing that -- I had forgotten -- makes me like her Globes dress better, because the cut was a breezy and comfortable choice for a new mom (that is not her husband; she's married to GoT EP David Benioff, and this guy is/was on the show). This dress, conversely, does her as few favors as Rosamund's Wang did. Wait, that sounded wrong.

Sarah Paulson in Giorgio Armani

sarah paulson sag awards 2015

This is great on her. Has she gotten a new stylist? I feel like all of a sudden Sarah Paulson has started to make SENSE.

Maggie Gyllenhaal in Thakoon

First, to allay your concerns, this is not secretly pants. It's a skirt with a slit. Second... I don't dislike this as much as I thought I did, but I still have objections to how it's pinching her right boob, and of course to the tiny translucent rectangle of pointlessness. It looks dingy. I get the design idea, but could it have been a solid color?

Anna Chlumsky in Escada

anna chlumsky sag awards 2015

I think this is pretty groovy, but that lipstick is 100 percent wrong with it.

Melissa Rauch in Pamella Roland

melissa rauch sag awards 2015

She usually goes for things that are really prom-y, so this is a step in the right direction, cut-wise, in the sense that it's more sleek than usual. She's also never afraid of color, which I appreciate. Sincerely, I am not sure she's ever worn anything nude.

Melissa Fumero in Maxine Simoens

melissa fumero sag awards 2015

And this is a LOT more interesting than she usually goes, so applause for that, even if the top also has a whiff of being a craft project made of neckties.

Gretchen Mol in Dennis Bassp

We are a house divided on this one -- Jessica likes it more than I do, although I agree with her assessment that this is like a splurge-y fancy Mother of Bride dress, and Gretchen shouldn't be there yet. My concern is that I don't think the actual color is very attractive -- almost like it went through the wash by mistake.

Stephanie Beatriz in Johanna Johnson

stephanie beatriz sag awards 2015

This is a reverse scroll down. If you start at the bottom it's lovely. The hue is a home run. And then you go up, up, up, and HOW IS THAT BODICE EVEN STILL THERE. Supposedly this was custom. Which means there are approximately ZERO good reasons for how WRONG that fit is. Like, it doesn't just need hoiking. It actually needs to sell its house and pack all its belongings and migrate north.

Maria Menounos in Romona Keveza

maria menounos

This gown is beautiful, and it fit her nicely, but whatever pose she's doing is ridiculous. As was her makeup. Sadly, it's a waste of a gorgeous dress. Yes, it got a lot of camera time on E!, but SO MUCH of that time was spent rolling my eyes and groaning at what a weird, strange, bad job she was doing... Someone should've hung onto this for when Mila Kunis is back in action.

Debbie Reynolds

A lady SHOULD wear gold when she's getting a lifetime achievement award. Sparkle on, Debs. Sparkle on.

SAG Awards Lightbox Purge: Fugs and Fabs of the Rest
Loads of people were wondering why Andrea Zuckerman was at the SAG Awards, and I can finally confirm it: She's starring on Game of Thrones this season as Flaenaeryers Baerflaertaein, who runs the local newspaper and hopes to lose her virginity to someone vaguely dangerous. Or, she's the EVP of the union. Whichever. [Photos: Splash, Getty, Fame/Flynet]
