I had to nab a shot of her walking in order to see the dress without Leg City. Her makeup and hair are a marvel, and the gown's wine color IS wonderful. I don't know if I love the way that one piece reroutes itself right above her chest. And the one that extends from that intersection all the way down to the ground is so-so as well. Small nits to pick, but they're what keep me from being in love.

Sarah Hyland was IN LOVE with her own joke about how her gown was "Angelina Jo-Leg." And then E! found Laverne on the red carpet, and she was doing the ACTUAL full Angelina. This was how she carried herself in every picture in which she stopped to pose, and it made me crazy. I'm glad she felt confident, but it started to look like she'd kicked her hip out of joint. All I could see was a frog's leg, too.

This, though? Major.

As is this. She also used her time on the red carpet to talk about the Flint, MI, water situation. Good for her, I say. On Hollywood's most self-congratulatory night, when everyone inside treats acting like it is keeping society running (one of the montages of self-referential Acting Moments from TV and film included the line, "Acting is the hardest job in the world," and nobody laughed, nor do I think they were meant to), it was nice to hear someone be like, "No, but seriously, this is what is REALLY important, and this is what the world should REALLY worry about."

This is so Dynasty. It's now actively upsetting me that she and Joan Collins have never had a cat fight. Is there still time?!?

I love that cut and color on her. She's SO MUCH FUN on the red carpet; it then astonishes me when people don't seem to want to play a bit more.
