SAG Awards Well Played, Melissa McCarthy
I'd like to just say that while I had some issues with Bridesmaids -- namely that a lot of the stuff Kristen Wiig's character did was totally jerky and selfish -- NONE of them were with Melissa McCarthy here, who was so freaking great in that movie. Just hilarious and totally without vanity and awesome. In fact, I think the scene where she drives over to Wiig's house and tells her to GET A GRIP and stop being such an asshole actually saved that movie. She was the quintessential Get-a-Grip Friend, and she deserves her accolades. Which is why I am stoked that I think she looks the best she's looked all awards season.
