Another reason this dress is so good: It looks super in a Zoom shot, and when they put up the lower-third announcing her win, it still didn't cover up the glam detail on her shoulders. A small thing, but not nothing.

Oh, here's the front of Carey's dress! It is... the opposite of Viola's, in that it's deadly dull in this format (and possibly any format). Gary Oldman up there on top is looking very much like Timothy Hutton wants to play him in a biopic, and then Riz in a new orange outfit that also has orange pants that I wish we could see (I like the suit better than the turtleneck), Viola, Steven, Vanessa's worm cage, and Amy.
