And I am not someone who minds that she goes full glam other than the makeup, because I think the point is not to eschew the trappings of a fancy night out, but to show her face and her skin as it is. I am of two minds here: One, she looks good and she's glowing, and the intricacies here are lovely, but I never like cream and white and kind of wish the bodice were lined. But... also maybe I don't care? This is a choice I would have been terrified to make, due to my long-standing certainty that stains WILL find me. It's not your usual rookie move, is what I'm saying.
