The US Cover
This is very pretty, but I don't think that's her best angle. Obviously, all these photos are retouched -- everyone has that done to them on these shoots -- but something about this makes it look like it's over-Photoshopped? Even it maybe it isn't? I just feel like I can see the brushwork under her eye and up her cheek. She's also someone who has SUCH a powerful gaze that I think she should always challenge the camera lens directly.
The Spanish Cover
See what I mean? She can look right down into that thing and win. Spain put the masthead right behind her head on this one, and it's quite good.
Glamour didn't send us the Mexico cover; here it is. It's from this set of photos. I actually think it's the best of the three, interestingly? THIS photo, with that background, looks sort of like she was captured by a roving Getty photographer at a fashion party. It's not bad, but the version they used against the beige backdrop on their cover really works.
That "Drinks With Broads" vibe!
