If you find yourself thinking, as I did, "ScarJo was *young* to be on a festival jury 20 years ago," you are correct: She was only 19\. Johansson has been famous for a LONG TIME*.* She had already made several of her most well-known non-*Avengers* films: *Ghost World* and *Girl With a Pearl Earring* and *Lost in Translation.* She was on the jury here but also promoting *A Love Song for Bobby Long* with John Travolta; there are a lot of pics of the two of them where it seemed like they were very good buddies, which I found sweet. She looks objectively great in a lot of these looks -- but I do think her team at the time veered more mature with her looks than they perhaps needed to, given her actual age? Let's discuss.
