The Musée des Arts Décoratifs is opening an Elsa Schiaparelli exhibit, so they hosted the latest couture show. Daniel Roseberry said he used it as a rumination on everything from early Schiaparelli to Christian Lacroix (one of his influences, and the man who revived the brand with a one-off collection in 2013) to his own work. I am not a practiced enough eye to know which pieces are what, and I don’t love this the way I usually do, but I can say: Don't worry, even without large gilded sculptures encircling the models, there's still plenty of weirdness in here.
