Caitriona Balfe on the red carpet
BAFTA Scotland Awards, Arrivals, Glasgow, Scotland, UK - 20 Nov 2022
Surprise! We're starting with Cait, the most gorgeous woman with the weirdest taste in outfits. She looks a thousand times better than the poor runway model, who got saddled with bad shoes and worse eye makeup. But... does this entire dress function like a backpack crossed with curtains? If you tighten the straps, does it hike everything up?

Having joked that he was the obvious winner, this is his first actual win here and only second nomination. I am thrilled for him regardless; the actual quality of his work (and hers) gets overshadowed by how bonkers people are over him and his chest and the sex scenes. The two of them make that entire batshit series make sense.
