The shape of this outfit is actually very good on her -- she likes these broad tops right now -- and the overall effect here is Cranky Hipster Matador, in a way that works better on her than I'd have anticipated.

I mean. The dress isn't even cute, but it ALSO provides a window into her thong situation. Those are two pretty big demerits to me.
