It's so fun to watch a new (to me) actor click with a really thrilling role. She's so good as Helly -- truly a star in a show that has a lot of other faces you know -- and she's dressing like one. This is a coming-out dress.

She has steely gray hair in the show and it REALLY suits her. Plus, the voice she puts on is very satisfying to imitate. When I get mildly annoyed with something, I hear myself saying, "Ma-aaaark," the way she does. She's clearly having a lot of fun. Her suit, too, is a fun time.
Zach Cherry and Anabella Tupaj
I think he needs better pants with this. Obviously we enjoy him, too, on the show, but Kevin and I were saying that his character's glasses are a constant source of stress because they are ALWAYS like seconds away from falling off his nose.

I am also thrilled to report that we might have a new Noted Kook on our hands. Obviously we need to see a larger body of work here, though. (She plays Adam Scott's sister.)
I also need everyone to know that on the show -- when she is not wearing crooked purple glasses -- she looks a WHOLE LOT like Young Rita Wilson. Think that scene in Sleepless in Seattle when she's talking about "An Affair To Remember."
