This is Mugler, and it is... doing exactly what it intended to do. I have to be honest, as much as Miley is capable of carrying that haircut, I don't love it. You'll see it a bit more clearly in the next slide, but it's like... Pat Benatar with light aspirations of Bowie in Labyrinth.

This photo is hilarious. It's like a toothpaste ad, except it's her crotch that's gleaming. Honestly, yeah, as Muglers go, this is pretty and it works, if you can deal with the naked parts of it. But as much as I am thrilled to have new content in GENERAL, there is nothing new about this for Miley. It is all a regurgitated rehash of stuff she's done before and broken hearts and defiant agony that she's expressed during OTHER post-Hemsworth recovery periods, and I wish she'd write a new chapter instead of just flipping backwards in her own book.

Even her performance was a throwback: While she sang a furious track about not NEEDING to be loved by Some Totally Random Ex, I'm Sure, she worked toward climbing back on the famous Wrecking Ball that she rode naked in that video... which was ALSO about Liam Hemsworth, um, I mean, a totally random ex. (ALSO, I am amused that even Getty Images had to take photos of their TV. I don't know what The CW is doing there, but okay!)

This is not Mugler. It might WANT to be, but instead it's just a poorly cooked pair of boob pancakes.

Okay and now this IS Mugler. And it's objectively ridiculous -- she looks like she's in costume as a pair of tights -- but it's still better than Bella's shirt by a country marathon.

I wish we had a proper shot of this. Kelly's skirt is sheer below here, which is mild, as she's also wearing very tall boots. But technically it counts.

And then Doja Cat came out and sang as a sea creature who glued shells to her erogenous zones

It's very... I feel like I'm at an art show about anatomy in sculpture. (These are photos of MY TV. Hey, if it's good enough for Getty...)
