I was catching up with this current season of *Abbott Elementary* over the weekend, and it is SO UNDENIABLE that Sheryl Lee Ralph is absolutely perfect casting for her role. She is imminently believable as the firm-but-kind kindergarten teacher everyone *loves*, and you absolutely get why Quinta's character wants her approval so much. If you aren't watching *Abbott Elementary,* I recommend it -- and not to sound like a square (though I definitely am one), but it's so pleasant to have a program on the docket where I know nothing extremely terrible will happen, and which I could easily watch with my grandma. So it feels right to see Sheryl Lee Ralph honored by the Human Rights Campaign looking like a perfect Valentine, given that I definitely want to send her one.
