Will didn't come, which makes sense right now. Jada looks AMAZING. ## Lena Waithe ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773ec-1649634122.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773ec) Lena Waithe Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 Lena is usually so dapper, and I can see where this is going, but the bottoms just look like she forgot to change out of her jammies. ## Megalyn Echikunwoke ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773dk-1649634136.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773dk) Megalyn Echikunwoke Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 She looks nice. She also dated Chris Rock until 2020, which may or may not have provided a topic of conversation. ## LaTanya Richardson, Samuel L Jackson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773dm-1649634143.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773dm) Latanya Richardson and Samuel L. Jackson Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 These two look great, as usual. I hope Samuel L. gets a studio named after him, or even better, one of his movies. The Get These Motherf\*cking Snakes Off My Motherf\*cking Plane Theater would be incredible. ## Raven Symone, Miranda Pearman-Maday ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773da-1649634150.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773da) Raven Symone and wife Miranda Pearman-Maday Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 Raven just needs some kicks that don't look like old Reeboks she found in her closet from when she had plantar fasciitis, or somesuch. (It's not the size of the sneaker; it's that they look retro in a way that doesn't lend itself to formalwear.) ## Kim Raver ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773bn-1649634157.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773bn) Kim Raver Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 Hard to find fault with this. ## Maxine Waters ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773aq-1649634164.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773aq) Congresswoman Maxine Waters Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 And she is divine, as usual. ## Kevin McKidd ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773ao-1649634170.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773ao) Kevin McKidd Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 It's nice to see Owen Hunt looking happy. I feel for Kevin McKidd, as it cannot have escaped him that most Grey's fans really are not invested and would gladly bid Owen adieu. ## Billy Porter ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773ah-1649634176.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773ah) Billy Porter Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 This has a whiff of Dorothy Zbornak about it. ## Kate Burton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773ae-1649634182.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773ae) Kate Burton Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 I LOVE her jacket. I also used to have that purse, I think. If I'm right, it's Coach, and it chafed part of my arm so I gave it to my mother because it didn't do that for her. WHAT A FASCINATING STORY. ## Katie Lowes ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773x-1649634188.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773x) Katie Lowes Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 Her character on Scandal was really just the worst after a while, so I was really pleased to wash that off with Inventing Anna. She's good in it -- she nailed down the vibe of her character, which is basically Status-Obsessed 25 Year Old Who Works in NYC Media and Doesn't Think Anything Bad Can Happen To Her Until It Does. ## Rebecca Gayheart ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773q-1649634194.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773q) Rebecca Gayheart Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 Rebecca is McSteamy's ex-wife. Did Shonda keep her in the divorce? I love that idea. I also love that she has her curls back. Her hair was iconic to me back in the day. ## Erica Gimpel ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773n-1649634200.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773n) Erica Gimpel Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 I will always be happy to see Coco from Fame anytime, anywhere. ## Phylicia Rashad ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773j-1649634206.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773j) Phylicia Rashad Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 Phylicia is of course Debbie's sister, and I used to love her, but those feelings have been so tainted by her support of Bill Cosby. I just can't help being so sad about that. ## Sheila E ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773a-1649634213.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773a) Sheila E. Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 I love her dress. The shoes remind me of any time a character in a movie or TV show becomes a designer, and then the designs that are supposed to be SO GOOD just end up looking like amateur hour at Michael's. ## Kylie Jefferson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773ai-1649634226.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773ai) Kylie Jefferson Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 Kylie, when she was 6, was the youngest ever student at Debbie Allen Dance Academy, and now she's a choreographer and an actress. She looks super, but for the shadow of underwire that's used as a design detail in the dress. It's never worth it. ## Robin Antin ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773z-1649634220.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12888773z) Robin Antin Debbie Allen x Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center Grand Opening, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Apr 2022 PLEASE tell me there will also be a Pussycat Dolls Room at this facility. [Shonda Rhimes Opened a New Performing Arts Center in L.A.It'll house Debbie Allen's dance academy.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12888773dv-1649634232.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/shonda-rhimes-opened-a-new-performing-arts-center-in-l-a-04-2022/)
