I had to start with Queen Janelle. I wasn't sure how I felt about the sleeves at first on this one -- they look like detachable bags, a bit? -- but honestly, looking back at it I think it's pretty much perfect for her and on her. It's creative where it can be, and classic everywhere else.

And this! The hits of teal gave this a little zip on the generally all-black evening. Also, I just now read that she apparently had a stroke A WEEK BEFORE SINGING AT THE OSCARS, which hit her DURING REHEARSAL. Christian fitted her in her Oscar gowns at the hospital and she took medicine to get through the performance and then had surgery later. Talk about the show going on. Holy cow. I love her even more.

This is Secretly Pants -- or, not even entirely secretly; it just depends how she's standing -- and it's super. She is SO up-and-down, but she was one of the first women who was treated as radioactive that Christian embraced before anyone else did, and they've continued a fruitful relationship.
