SJP's dress FEELS like a reference, but I don't think it is. I think it just...feels like one. (Honestly, I think it reminds me of some wallpaper my mom put up in my baby sister's room in 1989.)

I love her and she loves this dress and ones like it -- she often opts for this vibe. She looks cute but I also think she could sartorially branch out! I feel like Christian Siriano doesn't tend to be as relaxed and beachy as she likes to go but it might also be fruitful if he tried it!

She's the honorary chair of the gala! I do think this is what you get when you imagine "Stevie Nicks in a spring ballet." (I understand it's not spring but Stevie Nicks in a WINTER ballet is a whole other vibe.)
