MOUSE, what are you WEARING. She looks like she's trapped in a community theatre production of The Music Man. (Melissa is better known as Bridget on Guiding Light, but I met her on GH when she was the street urchin who helped my beloved Frisco Jones when he came back from the dead and was lurking in the catacombs of Port Charles. As one does.)

Roman and Marlena! Wayne is the O.G. Roman. I believe this was the year he left his second stint as Roman, although of course he came back in the 2000s to play a totally different character -- which is great because the guy currently playing Roman, Josh "Jack McKay" Taylor, started on Days in 1977 as a totally different character ALSO. I love soaps so much. Marlena needs a hoik.

Oh yes, JOHN BLACK, who was Roman in between Wayne's two stints and then realized he had been brainwashed and mind-wiped and whatever. He's had like three identities over the years but always settles on John Black. His eyebrow acting technique is the same. All that's changed is his hair color.

Aw, it's Cassie! She was on One Life To Live and I always really liked her. (Yes, I have watched almost every soap at one time or another, due in part to the vagaries of my college class schedule and what channels my rabbit-ear antenna could pick up in my dorm room, but my grandparents were ride-or-die OLTL and GH.) Laura's hair here was the HEIGHT of glamour to me in 1994, on several levels. One of course being actual height.

This is such a bittersweet picture, as Kristoff died two years ago. And right about this time, too. He and Drucilla and Olivia were a good triangle.

This is such a high-school dance look. Which is appropriate because Heather Tom was not that far out of high school here.

I hope she kept this. The entire look, choker included, came back around.

I'm not sure why Ferris's mom was there, except that she started out on GL in the late 70s. But hey, we're always happy to see The Lady Bueller.

Robert took over from the original Bo for a good many years. Looking at him now, he is the very image of a Bachelorette contestant (seriously, he even looks like that dude Chris from Becca's season).

There was a mini-escandelo when Robert started dating Miriam -- there MAY have been some question as to whether they dated before she turned 18, but I might be misremembering that? The two of them ended up getting married (she was 20 then) and having kids together.

Marj was a great soap diva from several different shows over the decades. She had just finished briefly filling in for Louise Sorel on Days and then moved to GL. This top is EVERYTHING you want from someone who is at the top of her soap game in 1994.

Louise here is the original Vivian Alamain, and was also Augusta on Santa Barbara, and she is having a REAL Soap Opera Diva Mega Moment of her own here.

And Robin here just played Vivian Alamain when she came back from... who knows where. The dead? Vacation? A made-up island where she has lived lo these many years? Robin made a much better Dorian Lord, though -- the role she played when one Nathan Fillion came to town in the role of an aged-up Joey Buchanan and they had a May-December romance. She looks like she made a party dress out of an old skating costume and that, too, is exactly right. GET ME THOSE RERUNS.
