You could, of course, argue that NO project needs to be rebooted or reimagined, but *Fatal Attraction* is a classic. Nonetheless, it had its controversies: Test audiences apparently bristled when the movie tried to give consequences to Michael Douglas, rather than simply pinning it all on Glenn Close, [who reportedly resisted the re-shot ending until she could resist no more](https://www.nytimes.com/2023/04/24/arts/television/lizzy-caplan-fatal-attraction.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). That Times piece makes it sound like the show might paint a more nuanced picture? Pacey and Lizzy Caplan are both great actors, so I can see them making that work, and he HAS excelled at playing dirtbags lately.

However: We need to talk about Lizzy's outfit. Now.
