This is very Reese Witherspoon of Reese Witherspoon and I'm not mad about it or anything -- she looks good, and it's a great dress! But it's fairly predictable for her.

This is very well-fitted to her, but I do wish she had a brighter lip. (Also: She is SO good on Severance. She has a million Emmys already, but still.)

This is, honestly, fairly perfect on her. She LOVES Versace now -- I can see wanting to go a little sexy with your wardrobe after playing so many wholesome roles prior to Pamela Anderson (not that Pammy isn't wholesome, but she's not Cinderella-level wholesome!). Anyway, it's very in her wheelhouse of late, but you can't deny that she's working this and it fits perfectly.

D&G is legit back. That being...what it is, I actually think this suit is great but it pains me to inform you that he is wearing a mesh shirt, and that is almost never necessary.

This is objectively slightly weird and a little medieval and yet...very good on her? (I think it helps that she's on a weird show and thus we've all been trained to accept interesting weirdness floating around her.)

Finally, I have a complaint! She is ALSO great on Severance, but this dress -- although objectively cute and kicky! -- is a little casual for the Emmys. This would be PERFECT for the VMAs, though. Like the big splashy classic VMAs of yore.

Sydney looks a bit tired out and I wonder if this grey is washing her out a little bit? It's a beautiful dress, though. I might have wondered how it would have looked in a slightly brighter blue.

I am UNACCUSTOMED to him looking sort of classic -- remember the time he won an Emmy dressed as a bit player in Les Mis? I shall ne'er forget -- and honestly he looks great. The sparkle keeps it from getting too boring.

You can't tell very well in this photo, but Mariska's dress has subtle sparkles all over it. She always just looks deeply competent and well-coiffed, and it is soothing! Chris Meloni is sparkly just in the sense that our eyes cannot help but be drawn to him.
