She is giving major burnished RHO(wherever) energy here, is she not? ## Jonathan Groff (Melchoir) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12911201az-1650949749.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Erik Pendzich/Shutterstock (12911201az) Jonathan Groff 'Spring Awakening: Those You've Known' premiere, New York, USA - 25 Apr 2022 The men of Spring Awakening, for the most part, had a blue awakening on this night. ## Skylar Astin (Georg) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12911359al-1650949802.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (12911359al) Skylar Astin 'Spring Awakening: Those You've Known' premiere, New York, USA - 25 Apr 2022 Skylar needs another button, I think. ## John Gallagher Jr. (Moritz) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12911359ae-1650949791.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (12911359ae) John Gallagher Jr. 'Spring Awakening: Those You've Known' premiere, New York, USA - 25 Apr 2022 This has more of a rumpled Theater Kid energy to it, like half of it was borrowed from a costume shop. The shoes, for sure. He was apparently great in this; my first exposure to him was in The Newsroom, and that entire show was a giant NOPE from me, and I wish I'd seen him in this instead. ## Brian Charles Johnson (Otto) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12910676t-1650949723.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock (12910676t) Brian Charles Johnson 'Spring Awakening: Those You've Known' premiere, New York, USA - 25 Apr 2022 Brian went for grey, and I support his tie clip. ## Jonathan B. Wright (Hänschen) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12911359be-1650949838.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (12911359be) Jonathan B. Wright 'Spring Awakening: Those You've Known' premiere, New York, USA - 25 Apr 2022 We need to deal with this entire situation. He looks like he came against his will. ## Darren Criss ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12911261g-1650949778.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by MediaPunch/Shutterstock (12911261g) Darren Criss 'Spring Awakening: Those You've Known' premiere, New York, USA - 25 Apr 2022 "Allow me to liven things up with some BROWN MUSTARD! You're welcome." (Darren is there, I think, just as support.) ## Krysta Rodriguez ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12911359as-1650949813.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (12911359as) Krysta Rodriguez 'Spring Awakening: Those You've Known' premiere, New York, USA - 25 Apr 2022 Krysta was a swing and then later played Lolo's role in a revival. I don't love this style of dress, but she wears it well. ## Jennifer Damiano ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12910676ad-1650949688.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock (12910676ad) Jennifer Damiano 'Spring Awakening: Those You've Known' premiere, New York, USA - 25 Apr 2022 Jennifer was one of the swings in the original show, and she looks disarmingly like a brunette Britney from a parallel universe. RIGHT? ## Lolo Pritchard (Ilse) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12910676r-1650949710.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock (12910676r) Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard 'Spring Awakening: Those You've Known' premiere, New York, USA - 25 Apr 2022 Lolo's Wikipedia page says she once lived with Lisa Marie Presley and tried to start a reggae band with her? It is for the best that this didn't happen. Lolo also [recently disclosed that she's an abuse survivor](https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/tv/story/2022-04-25/hbo-spring-awakening-reunion-those-youve-known-lauren-pritchard?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and she talked a bit in that piece (which I don't THINK is paywalled?) about starring in -- and actively developing -- a show that crossed streams with her real life. It's worth a read, for sure. ## Phoebe Strole (Anna) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12910676an-1650949698.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock (12910676an) Phoebe Strole 'Spring Awakening: Those You've Known' premiere, New York, USA - 25 Apr 2022 Phoebe has done a few things since -- an episode of Glee, and some of GLOW. And other shows that don't begin with G. We are entering a section, by the way, where everyone's dresses really remind me of prints that were for sale in the late 90s/early aughts. ## Lilli Cooper (Martha) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12910676x-1650949737.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock (12910676x) Lilli Cooper 'Spring Awakening: Those You've Known' premiere, New York, USA - 25 Apr 2022 Lilli was Tony-nominated for the Jessica Lange role in the Tootsie musical, back in 2019?!? How did I forget that happened? I appreciate what she's trying with the shoes, but I cannot co-sign it. ## Remy Zaken (Thea) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12911359au-1650949824.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (12911359au) Remy Zaken 'Spring Awakening: Those You've Known' premiere, New York, USA - 25 Apr 2022 This whole thing sincerely feels teleported in from my middle school dance in 1991. [I Have Learned a Lot About Lea Michele TodayOr I guess, a lot about what Jonathan Groff learned about Lea Michele.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2022/04/shutterstock_editorial_12911359y-1650949847.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/i-have-learned-a-lot-about-lea-michele-today-04-2022/)
