Phuong My is a Vietmanese designer, and Vietnam is the country of origin of Kelly's parents, so this is a really neat choice -- a nod both to her heritage, and her place in the Star Wars canon as the first Asian lead, and another message to her haters that she is not here for their lunacy. I am intrigued by it, and also confused -- it looks almost like we can see her right nipple, as though the extra red material over it is actually an X-ray machine.
