White is a highly symbolic color in the history of suffrage. I do not love turning the trench-dress into a tutu? But maybe there's a story there.
Shaina Taub

Shaina wrote Suffs and stars as Alice Paul. I like the suit, and I LOVE the gold boots.
Laura Benanti

I don't mind the dress here, but I really can't help feeling like the shoes -- though an intriguing choice -- were a random swing. They seem too casual.
Melissa McCarthy

I mean, it's... fine? It's standard business at this point. The star should be the gloves, which are embroidered with messages, but she didn't really make a point out of flashing them. I downloaded a close-up so we could zoom in a bit more...

... but you still have to pop the photo out (click the box in the lower right that has the arrow coming out of it) to read it. One says CAN WOMEN KILL and then KISS HERE on one finger. I can't read all of the other one? Is this promoting something? A mystery!
Luis Miranda and Lin-Manuel Miranda

I appreciate Lin's dad for going ALL IN.

I feel like neither one of these people has mastered pants. Ben's aren't as bad as usual? But he always looks like he just came from a hard workout.
Meena Harris

Pretty material, but this style seems awfully dated, and not in a fun retro way.
Rebecca Wisocky

More thematic white! She is very funny in Ghosts, and I just now noticed she reminds me a bit of Geena Davis.
Hillary

Hillary is a producer of the musical, and also, by the looks of things, one of the event's celebrity chefs.
Malala, and Asser Malik

Malala ALSO co-produces. Get this woman a Tony!
Madison Bailey

This is allegedly Madison Bailey from Outer Banks, but... is it? Maybe I'm just thrown by the makeup, and/or the fact that I'm used to seeing her in cutoffs trying to escape from pirates.
D'Arcy Carden

Sensible!

And, The Sensible Trilogy concludes with a banger of a finish.
Sara Bareilles

This is the prequel, Insensible: When Neckties Attack.
Anna Wintour

Far be it from me to critique the Queen of all Fashion Media herself, but I do not think these two striped items play well together even in a quirky way. I SAID WHAT I SAID.
